Notes
Recorded/Mixed + Produced at The Manshun in Los Angeles in June 2009 by James Murphy for The DFA.
"This was made with Gretsch Drums, Ludwig Drums, Simmons Electronic Drums, Roland Clap Machine, Roland MKS-80 Synthesizer, EMS Putney VCS3 Synthesizer, Epiphone Bass Guitar, Ampeg B-15 Bass Amplifier, Maestro Phase Shifter, Human Voice, and Roland Space Echo. Mixed on custom DFA 2x8M Studio Monitors designed by James Murphy + Ian Neill for DFA Audio."
Following information taken from DFA Records website:
A cover of the almighty Alan Vega tune recorded during the This Is Happening sessions, original released in 2009, never repressed for whatever reason (life?), and played live exactly five times:
1x at MSG in 2011
1x at the Panorama Festival in NYC in 2016 (right after Alan died)
3x at the Brooklyn Steel 2022 residency
Figured since it's back in the rotation, it was worth a repress.
Four color print on a reverse board sleeve.
Poly-lined inner.
